The 4FRONT-1 Study
Sponsor: 4D Molecular Therapeutics
Trial Summary
A Randomized, Double-Masked, Active-Controlled Trial in Adults with Macular Neovascularization Secondary to Age-Related Macular Degeneration.
4D-150 is currently being evaluated in the 4FRONT-1 and 4FRONT-2 Phase 3 clinical trials and the ongoing Phase 1/2 PRISM clinical trial in adults with wet AMD. 4D-150 is also being evaluated in Part 1 of the SPECTRA clinical trial in adults with DME. We believe this product candidate is highly differentiated because it is designed as a single, routine, low-dose intravitreal injection with the potential to be a backbone therapy by inducing continuous expression of two therapeutic transgenes from retinal cells, resulting in durable suppression of four different vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) family members at the site of disease activity.
